Tlholego Development Project (TDP) was established in South Africa in 1991 as a Section 21 nonprofit organization that exists largely thanks to the financial support of concerned individuals and organizations in South Africa and throughout the world.

Tlholego is home to an emerging community of rural farm workers, teachers, educators and social entrepreneurs who are pioneering a model for rural sustainable development.
